Having received tips from the likes of Sourav Ganguly and John Buchanan, former Indian skipper Mohammad Azharuddin's son Mohammad Asaduddin Wednesday said he thoroughly enjoyed the experience of taking part in the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) trials here.

'I have learnt a lot in the last three days. I have got tips from (KKR captain) Ganguly and (coach) Buchanan which will definitely help me in future,' said Asaduddin.

The youngster, who grabbed a lot of attention during the three-day trials that ended at the Eden Gardens Wednesday, said he was aware of the tough competition.

Asked whether he was expecting a call-up for the KKR, Asaduddin said: 'With so many cricketers around, the competition would be tough. I am not expecting anything.'

Asaduddin said at this stage of his career he was focused on turning out for Hyderabad in the Ranji Trophy.
