Indian Premier League side Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) Wednesday categorically said they had no plans to put Australian skipper Ricky Ponting on sale.

'We have no plans to do away with Ponting,' KKR team director Joy Bhattacharya told reporters here.

On 'Rawalpindi Express' Shoaib Akhtar, Bhattacharya said: 'We have to wait and watch.'

He said the KKR team management was waiting to see whether the Pakistani squash team gets the green signal to come to India. 'Only then we will be able to understand the situation. We will take a final call during our next camp in February,' he said.

Meanwhile, KKR have roped in Gujarat spinner Manish Parmar and Haryana batsman Sachin Rana.
