Jhulan to lead women's cricket team in World T20

Pacer Jhulan Goswami will lead the Indian women's cricket team in the International Cricket Council's Twenty20 World Cup in England in June later this year.

The women's selection committee met at the Cricket Centre here Tuesday to pick the 15-member squad.

The women's T20 World Cup will begin alongside the men's competition commencing June 5.

Squad: Jhulan Goswami (captain), Amita Sharma (vice-captain), Mithali Raj, Anjum Chopra, Rumeli Dhar, Sulakshana Naik (wk), Anagha Deshpande (wk), Priyanka Roy, Reema Malhotra, Gauhar Sultana, Harman Preet Kaur, Poonam Raut, Babita Mandlik, Latika Kumari, Diana David.
