The politicians and diplomats could show a friendly face, but the general public has been and will look at India as enemy. They have been brainwashed through mahavamsa ( mythic history) into believing that India invades and convert people from Buddism into Hindu. If the Indian establishment haven't realized this, may be they should do a secret poll and find out.
