India beat Sri Lanka by 170 runs in the second cricket Test to level the series 1-1 at the Galle International Stadium here Sunday.

Chasing 307, Sri Lanka were packed off for 136 on the fourth day of the Test. Ishant Sharma took three for 20 in the second innings.

Harbhajan Singh claimed match figures of 10-153.
