India bundled out for 249 in first innings against Sri Lanka

Electing to bat, India were all out for 249 in their first innings on the first day of their third and final cricket Test match against Sri Lanka at the P.Saravanamuttu Stadium here Friday.

Sri Lanka's rookie spinner Ajantha Mendis took his second five wicket haul for 56 runs. For India, Gautam Gambhir top scored with 72 runs.
